TEACHER'S DAY SPECIAL

Do you remember who was your very first teacher???? Before answering this question, let us know who is a teacher? Etymologically, a Teacher is a person who helps you to learn. Now, coming back to the question i.e. your very first teacher. If we contemplate, we'll find that the first person(s) to teach us anything were our Parents. It was them who taught us how to eat, drink, sit, talk, walk, jump,run, play and everything that they could. Our parents are the ones who selflessly work round the clock for us, to provide us warmth, care and protection. 

But what do they do???

We all know what our parents have done and still do for us. Have you ever seen a baby taking its first step? Just notice his/her parents. They are the most happiest when they see their child walking for the first time. It is them who teach everything from the start. They 'teach' us how to run and play which helps us in 'our' growth ; they 'teach' us how to behave properly and not to misbehave with anyone; they inculcate in us the important values and ethics that help us to lead a quality life. In short, they spend half of their lifetime to teach us how to basically Live.

The above given points are the very fundamental things that our parents do for us.

Now the question arises on you......

Do you thank them enough???

No. We don't. We age and become 'adults' but we forget that once we were kids and were dependent on someone for each and everything. We needed shielding, guidance and support. 

Have you ever taken time (birthdays don't count👎) to Thank them. Let's try. Today, when your mother cooks food for you, just appreciate her once. Say that the food is yummy and hug her. Maybe she'll not show but it will give her immense amount of happiness. For once forget your elevated egos and thank them for what they have taught you (atleast once).

Appreciate your parents. You never know what sacrifices they went through for You.
