Emotional Experiences in Adolescents




Adolescence is the period of Stress and Storm. Through this period everyone goes through a roller-coaster in their life. There are multiple physical and emotional changes that occur in the body. When this change is going on, there is a lot of discomforts, as one does not know how to react to these changes.

There numerous physical change that creates a disturbance in adolescent life. Like in girls they started with their menstruation cycle and in boys started developing into their adult version. This life- stage stay around 8-18 years of age. This age is very crucial as they also started developing their emotional and cognitive sense according to the theories of Jean Piaget and soo on.

Effects of negative emotions:-

Emotions are a strong feeling that causes certain situations in life. The emotions that are derived from the situation will affect our experience throughout our life. If we had a negative situation and the emotion is also strong like depression, loneliness, anxiety and or fell negative about yourself so these emotions will have a defect in your personality as you might be an introvert, can't trust anyone very easily, etc. These triads in your personality will create an illusion of arrogant or an egoistic person so people will not like to talk to you which is not true. 

So to overcome these emotions and create a positive image your self. You can follow some of these steps from personal experience:-
1. You should talk to your elders about this. They can be your teachers, mom, dad, or your elder sibling. As they have been your age and knows how to neutralized the exploration of the emotions.
2. You can write down emotions and tear them. It is filmy I know, but it works for me.
3. You should counsel to a therapist and can work on your emotions and have a stable mindset.
These are some steps that I have followed to overcome my emotions.

My personal experience:-

As I have mentioned earlier about some ways to overcome your emotions. But you might be confused about what was the situation and emotions that I have overcome. Let me start this in a way of a story.

So the story starts in 2013 when I was in class 6th. In 2013 I had changed my school to the most popular school in my area and a dream school for most of the girls. But this school was never my dream as I have the best life before that. Before that school, I was a popular dancer in my school and a good student. 
As there is a line that table must spin but in my case, it spins very early. When I entered my new school I was very excited to have new friends but it gradually exits. This change has created a disturbing of thought in my head. I started feeling low about myself as I was very popular and now no one is talking to me. This whole ignorance phase continued till 2017 and created a huge negative feeling about my self . But a took step to grab a leftover me and confess my feelings to my parent. At the initial stage, they did care about it as they that I will take some time to settle in a new environment.But when it continued for many years and I stop performing and my grade stared decreasing they understood this and changed my school.

In the end, I just wanted to say that in that period of my life I had a very good teacher and my parents who supported me. Now I am very well recovered form this and also stood 3 in 11th grade and have more than 85% in 12 boards. And now I have found a new skill which is photography It gives me strength and makes me happy.😌😌😌

I do know this story too well....as we both were together.....Just as I started reading I thought just like you mentioned your parents may be I would be mentioned somewhere in a positive way.....as in i was going through the same phase maybe worst bcoz i never had the guts to tell the whole thing to my parents.....the thing that makes me sad today is that somewhere i wasn't there for u at all and was expecting you to ve there for me, everytime.....i am soo sorry my friend, my lifeline that i wasn't there for you, if you think that way.....but I always think about what all we both went through in that phase......i do live you.....
