FLOWERS = POSITIVITY

 

The Flower is a pure and beautiful creation of Nature. They are the source of joy, happiness, sweetness, positivity, beauty and what not. Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature.

India has too many varieties and versatility of flowers. As the Round Marigold,  White Jasmine (pic below👇), and the Water Lily exists in large amounts in India. The elegant Gulmohar adds color to the tree that bears. Indian's flora includes many unique flowers. Therefore, Botanists from all over the world come to study flowers in India.

✫ FLORAL GARDENS in INDIA: India has many floral gardens of repute. Let's have a look.......

 Firstly in Northern India, Mughal emperors had made gardens in Kashmir besides the Dal Lake. This historic step attracts tourists from all over the world to visit the beautiful and enriching gardens like Shalimar, Nishant, and Pani Mahal gardens. Not only in the north but The Botanical Gardens in Kolkata in the west has a unique and magnificent effect on people. As we all know, Flowers add color to our life and make a cemented city look beautiful. Therefore if the north and west are beautified by flowers so center the Capital has Crossings that are abound with flowers of different colors. In spring the flowers spring to life and the joy of many men knows no bounds. The most common garden in India is  The Mughal Gardens which is set up in the residence of the President of India and opens in February every year for a few days. Moreover, the city is known for its IT hub, Bangalore is also renowned for its beauty, which is born with Flowers. 

✫ FLOWERS HAVE MANY VIRTUES :

- Marigold adorn garlands in India. The temples in India accept marigold and many of them lie scattered at the feet of Gods and Goddesses in respect of them.

- Rose = Queen of Flowers. The dainty rose, the queen, is wooed by many lovers. It symbolizes Love and Peace. Also, the First PM of India Mr.Jawahar Lal Nehru always wore a rosebud on his achakan. 

- Lotus is the national flower of India. Saraswati, the goddess of learning, is picturized as sitting on a Lotus with a sitar. The lotus is also called the water lily and many ponds have it.

-Jasmine=  Authentic ornament. Women in the south wear Jasmine in their hair. Its sweet essence and white color add to the beauty of women. 

✫ FLOWERS HAVE GREAT CONNECTION :

The White Lily honors the dead. They are seen to grow near graves of Christians and Muslims.

Happy occasions call for the presentation of bouquets. Wreaths are laid on the 'samadhis' of great men. 

Interior Decoration involves flowers arrangement. Vases are decorated with fresh flowers. Flower decoration has become an art. 

Flowers have an economic value. Roses are exported from India to West Germany and Russia. The Dutch economy depends a great deal on its Tulips. Many gardens sell their Marigolds to temples.

Flowers are an ornament. They do not last very long but their short stay brings forth mirth and joy to people. Their beautifying influence on life is unmatched.

Flowers have emotional aspect. Before going to bed, I saw a tiny bud on top of a stem enclosed in a green covering. The next morning, the tiny bud had opened. A beautiful rose was springing to life. The red petals had slightly opened and the next day, the rose blossomed fully. Tiny drops of dew clung to the red petals. I shared the happiness of new birth, that of a Flower. (Pic below👇)

Most importantly, in times of Loneliness, flowers flash upon the inward eye and become the bliss of solitude. Man is happy in this jovial company. Especially a person like me, whose mood swings every minute😜, needs some positivity around. Flowers really help me to calm myself and makes me feel more positive. Just sitting near them makes me feel that there is more to life. 

In this era, where we lack genuineness and positivity, its surprising that these living beings who can't even communicate, provide great therapy from mind to soul.
